This week’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show saw the launch by The Harkness Rose Company of The Menopause Charity Rose in conjunction with The Menopause Charity. And to mark the occasion on Press Day on Monday are, pictured above left to right, Michelle Griffith Robinson, Jenny Haskey (CEO of The Menopause Charity), Lynn White, Philip Harkness, Liz Earle and Dr. Radhika Vohra.
Below, you’ll see the stunning light candy pink rose itself. By definition, it’s a floribunda rose which will produce an abundance of flowers, borne mainly in clusters. It’ll bloom repeatedly throughout the summer and autumn. And it’s perfect for growing in a large pot or in a border.
The Menopause Charity Rose is available to pre-order now for autumn delivery from the Harkness Roses and World of Roses websites. £2.50p from the sale of each rose will be paid to The Menopause Charity.
About The Menopause Charity
Menopause Specialist Dr Louise Newson founded The Menopause Charity in 2020. The charity aims to educate everybody so that perimenopause and menopause are properly understood.
The charity works to provide trusted information and support so that women, and other individuals experiencing menopause, understand the changes that are happening to them and know what to do next. They also ensure that family friends, co-workers, employers and healthcare professionals have the information and resources to provide appropriate support.
