The RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival opens today, July 2nd, and runs until July 7th. And when I was at the Preview Day yesterday, I was captivated by the beautiful RHS Peat-Free Garden, which was designed by Arit Anderson!
I loved the naturalistic planting in both cool and hot shades. Purple Verbena bonariensis, dainty Scabious and Alliums mixing with vibrant cerise Foxgloves and bright orange Crocosmia.
The greenhouse featured above was made from upcycled windows. And as you scroll down, you’ll see the rustic water butts which collect rainwater from the greenhouse roof.
I hope you enjoyed taking a look around the garden. To find out more about design, head over to The RHS website. And if you’d like to find out more about how the garden was constructed, pop to Arit’s Instagram account.
